Glass coating chemistry selection can affect both anticipated aesthetic and performance project characteristics, while expectation of glass and coating configuration and operation vary widely within CSI MasterFormat Division 08 and 09 based on the detailing of performance, prescriptive, or proprietary types of specification. This webinar provides fabricators, glaziers, general contractors, building owners, and developers critical education about how OPACI-COAT-300® can be specified based on project-driven requirements. Attendees will learn about key technical, aesthetic, and performance considerations for spandrel and backpainted glass, including applicable standards. Product defense methods will also be addressed to improve communication between design and construction teams, and strengthen their data-driven focus to utilize silicone-coated glass to meet design and performance goals.
